Piano zones

Piano zones are represented with the notation Iz. IIz. IIIz. IV. and correspond to the zones shown in the image.

Not every piano model has these zones equally well defined or accessible, which is why the performer is asked to approximate according to their own instrument. The use of movable music stands over the strings is advisable so as not to hinder access to techniques inside the piano.
