Pick at the end of the strings

Pick at the end of the strings

Pick at the end of the string is an extended technique associated with the piano.

This technique involves two notations: the use of a guitar pick and drawing it along the far end of the strings. The result is a very bright, metallic sound. A 1.5mm pick is recommended. If picking up a pick is not feasible due to speed, a fingernail can be used instead.

Only for the following instruments:Piano
