Swap

Understood as a swap/exchange, it refers to improvising a musical gesture with the given notes, following the proposed rhythm.

It is usually enclosed in a rectangle delimiting the notes to be taken into account for the performance. At times, if a note is to be added to the set, it is marked with a "+" followed by the note.
