Carles Bella (1999)

Carles Bella Arroyo (Alzira) is a professional percussionist specializing in performance and music teaching. He holds a Higher Diploma in Percussion from the Conservatorio Superior de Música Joaquín Rodrigo, where he completed his training with professors Manel Ramada, Joan Cerveró and Manolo Tomás. He also pursued advanced studies at the Valencia Percussion Academy under Josep Furió, Joan Soriano, Eloy Lurueña, Víctor Segura and Óscar Martí, complementing his training with masterclasses given by renowned international percussionists such as Rainer Seegers, Claudio Estay, Alejandro Coello, Henrik Larsen, Raúl Benavent, Conrado Moya and Esaú Borredá.

As a performer, he has built a solid artistic career in both classical and contemporary music. He has worked as a percussion soloist with the opera company Laura Gago Artist Management, taking part in a national tour, and has performed with the Christmas Festival Orchestra of the company Vívelo en Vivo, conducted by Bauti Carmena. He has also collaborated with the Grupo Instrumental de Valencia at the Palau de la Música de València, taken part in several editions of the Festival Spanish Brass in Alzira, and performed in the 4th edition of Art al Carrer with Panku Duo. In contemporary music, he has taken part in several concerts by singer-songwriter Joan Amèric, notably "Alzira, l'illa enCANTADA" on 25 July 2025. His accolades include first prize at the 12th Concurso de Jóvenes Intérpretes de Alzira, and first prize together with the audience award at the 12th Concurso de Música de Cámara de Alzira, as a member of Takkar Duo.

On the teaching side, he works as a drum teacher at Espai de Rock and has taught at the 3rd Percussion Course of Alginet, the Riberalz Festival, Dacapo Music Art Academy, the Asociación Musical of C.E.I.P. Lluís Vives, and the Asociación Cultural Artística de Carlet. He is currently continuing his specialization in drums and Latin percussion with Yoel Páez at ABP Drums.
