Álvaro Pérez Sánchez(1999)
New classical music-Choir (SATB)
“Vénen d'allà” sets to music a fragment of the poem that Teodor Llorente dedicated to Francesc Viñas. The friendship between the Valencian writer and the Catalan tenor is reflected in verses written after a performance of Lohengrin at the Teatro Principal in Valencia. The poem was published in Las Provincias on 27 January 1889, the day after one of Viñas's performances.
Piece premiered by the Cor de la Generalitat Valenciana on 02.07.26 at the MuVIM, Valencia.
