Nuria López García (2002)
Guitar
→ Also a composerNuria López García (Albacete, 2002) is a composer and guitarist whose music grows out of curiosity and the exploration of the most subtle gestures and sounds that often go unnoticed, approached from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Trained at Musikene (Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco) in Guitar and Composition, she has taken part in festivals such as Musikagileak and the Ciclo Bernaola, in international residencies such as Royaumont, and has collaborated with ensembles such as Ensemble Sinkro and the Banda Municipal de Vitoria-Gasteiz. She has also received honors such as the 4th Composition Prize of the Teatro de la Zarzuela (2025) and the Universidad de Granada's Manuel de Falla Prize (2026).
She is currently presenting "Órbitas", her debut solo album, a sonic journey that weaves together works by contemporary composers with her own interludes, creating a sound world in which the guitar acts as a gravitational axis that draws together and unifies different aesthetics.
