Traces (2025) is a three-movement piece dedicated to Ana Parejo, born out of a dialogue between voice and electronics, that questions the permanence and transformation of the traces left by time. Through a structure that unfolds chronologically, the piece immerses us in our perception of the past, our way of inhabiting the present and projecting the future, blurring the boundaries between what has been, what is, and what will be — but also what could be.
The piece was composed working closely, side by side, with soprano Ana Parejo.
This piece includes electronics that can be presented in stereo or octophonic format.
